HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! okay. this is chao chi dun! haha.

i just realised how abstract my post was on alumni games day!!! coz i was practically falling asleep when i was posting on fri..so i dint bother to recount everything and i dint feel like posting on sat and yest so i shall post today n keep memories of it here b4 i forget!

friday..
reached coro at 10.30 to meet sqms there! we wanted to print our sqd tee but the shop wasnt open..had lunch until 11.30 i think.. we finished lunch-ing in half an hr's time becoz....KATHERINE WASNT WITH US! haha which is a gd thing coz if she's with us...we will probably finish eating at 1 -.-
then went back to sch..then sqms wanted to play ball but some (incl. me) dint so we went to sit at the swing..then all sqms came over and we started to discuss abt this strange sms that this sqm sent us.. it was a reminder for us to bring the poncho etc. for alumni games day and to bring $$ for sqdfund.. but when hong asked who she was and why need so much money (i tink) the person replied that its coz sqdfund is broke but dint reply who she was...then reply lai reply qu but the person still dint reply who she was! then pooh (i tink) asked tt sqm who she was she oso dint reply..
so we were very very curious coz every squadmate said that they dint send the sms and our nice nice treasurer camelia said that she just received an sms frm that sqm telling her to collect $$ from everyone..
hm oso becoz of those anony emails in our sqdmail which made us very curious...
and we decided to call the person! if its sqm we will noe whose phone ring de wad...and the sqm's voice...
so we went back into the canteen and called using loudspeaker...

*ringring..*
Person: Hello
Us: Hello
Me: tt doesnt sound like sqm
-silence-
Person: Hello are you looking for camelia?

THE TRUTH IS OUT! it was camelia -.-

we killed camelia.

yeayea then ma'am asked us to fall in and ALUMNI GAMES DAY 2006 began...

got into group 1 with i/c ma'ams lin yan ma'am and zhen zhen ma'am, sheila ma'am and chua simin ma'am, si jia ma'am and meichun..

started with this fox and rabbit game.. then we got our first clue：

we thought of redhill n bukit timah hill! coz gao er deng si mah must be some kind of hill..

then we told i/c ma'am we wanted to go bukit timah hill.. then ma'am say must read out the clue!

so it was: podenike gaerdengsi
which actually was! botanical gardens!

so creative. haha. okay nvm.

yeap so we went there.. on bus 67 (mc went crazy).. simin ma'am asked where we stay... she found out that i stayed in boonlay! then she was like "shiyun(ma'am) oso stay there.." then after that she said that shiyun ma'am says that cong always gen zong ta.. hahaha. so funny. LOL.
we reached there n coz this few days keep raining.. our shoes got very very muddy and dirty and i havent wash them yet and sch's reopening in 2 days time =(
nvm.

yea then went there to the symphony lake to count the no. of life buoys and to take a grp photo infrt of the orchid garden...

then we got our next clue which i forgot and the answer was 7 mile.. and we dunno wad that place is...
we found out it was bukit timah food centre after some..errr guessing
counted the no. of chicken rice stalls, carrot cake stalls and sugarcane drink stalls.

i/c ma'am gave us chee kueh to eat and we gobbled them down -.-

went to the next station..serene centre! sheila ma'am got this. haha we were staring at the paper which says wad calm tranquil then got alot of words to this meaning.. then sheila ma'am figured out tt it was serene centre..

this station is the most fun de! to my opinion =)
we were supposed to do 7 tasks in 150s which are:
1) Read this paragraph which was in chinese i think its rao kou ling
2) Read this tongue twister
3) There were colour words like red orange blue black white and stuff but they were not in their colour stated. e.g. the word red was in yellow.. then must read the colour the word was coloured and then the colour it means.. lala~ rulang outside rac got this! haha.
4) Memorise the pi no. 3.14159265358979323846 (if i remember correctly)
5) Recite the first 20 elements of the periodic table
6) Buy an icecream and finish it
7) Take a picture of someone proposing to Ronald Macdonald

yeap. Si Jia ma'am did the first one..
Simin ma'am did the second one..
Sheila ma'am did the third one..
I did the fourth one..
Meichun did the fifth one..
We did the sixth one..
Si Jia ma'am did the seventh one..

yay it was fun =) but we sort of chi dun-ed the first time so we did this station twice..

the next clue was sth like:
a market on a road which is not tanned

and ma'ams thought it was fairprice! coz market mah and not tanned = fair
turned out to be farrer road and i realised that i see this street name EVERYDAY when i take 174. and i was wondering why this place sounds so familar even though i never went there b4..

yeap this was the count the no. of units station and we counted the no. of letterboxes.
alot of grps counted wrongly and they did forfeit = eat green chili! haha bet yijung was delighted XD jiayuin found out sth too when her grp were at this station..which i shall NOT say here. lalala~

the next station was supposed to be the foodcourt behind NJC.. but it was 4 le so we decided to forfeit this station =( but we got the stuff anyway at farrer road market.. 3 can tabs, a rubberband, 2 folded straw stars, a cup of ice.. i tink no more le but i cant really remember >.<

yeap went to turf city after that. and if i remember correctly.. it was on this bus that si jia ma'am asked if we had sqdtee...then she asked how i find their sqd tee and i said okay. haha after that then i found out that it was all the different ways to kill hamsters. haha. poor hamsters. its very cute though. but i just realised.. if everyone different desgin..means their sqd tee very ex. lah! haha. nvm.
anyway at turf city task was to find the heaviest thing that we could buy with $2 and to link 3 no.s with a b and c
we used 2 4 9
and it was
find _____(2) ppl to sign on a piece of paper
point out ____ (4) different brands n types of shampoo
find ______(9) items on sales
turned out to be qte easy coz we chose small numbers haha

pingting's grp very cham..
they chose 208 (the no. of units) for the first one!
they had to find 208 ppl to sign! but they completed it! so pro! haha. ((:

yeap then it was the dinner.. which turned out to be steamboat!
the food was qte okay..
and we started out normal..
then abt 8 lik tt, dunno which sqm pointed out this man who was wearing this cap thingy which looks like..that kind of sieve..
then dunno which sqm again said he looked like a tortoise!
then made the whole sqd laugh like siao..
then we got into laughing mode and couldnt stop laughing at every single little thing that KATHERINE said and no one could eat for the next hour -.-

then we ate our potong icecream!yay((:
and went home.

wanted to take hong's car to the busstop at first..coz we dint want to take the shuttle bus..
but then after that we decided that we dun wan to squeeze.. 7 ppl in a 5 seater car eh! which is okay actually -.- but we wanted to walk..
yeap so we walked out instead.

i think this post is chao long.. haha. nvm next time can recollect memories from this post..

okay shall talk abt..

yesterday(:

went out at 5.30 i think.. to popular to buy stationary for schreopen. and for me to buy shou ce for chinese..then we went to clementi for dinner..
and ended up in my cousin's house at 10.. stayed for countdown.. which is why i couldnt join sqms online for countdown =( and reached home at 1.30...
and watched tv until 2.30..
and fell asleep..

and today! is 1/1/2007
and its a new year! yay((:
happy new year!
haha.
i shall read tkam now...
shall read until lunch and after lunch till 5.
then i shall quickly iron my clothes until 6..
then i shall polish my boots till 7 (very little eh. how! no time le!!!) okay i shall polish to 8..at least finish one side of my boots...
then eat dinner...nono! must wash my sch shoes.. =( wash until 8.30 (anyhow wash)..
then eat dinner..
until 9..
eh? i wan to watch the dunno-wad-its-called show on channel 8 from 8 to 9! haiz.
then at 9...
i shall read tkam again..
